End of December update

A Happy New Year to you all!

Have just done the end of December update.

Numbers for the calendar year 2024:

Admissions - 492

Deaths - 258

Releases - 224

Which represents a 46% release rate just now which I hope will improve as we release those in care with us.

At the year end there were 61 hedgehogs at White Lodge and 15 with Monique in St Clement.

Admissions for the last quarter are:

October- 71 Admissions , 38 deaths , 14 releases

November - 61 Admissions , 28 deaths, 9 releases

December - 25 Admissions , 12 deaths , 12 releases

It has been a difficult winter, the weather has been so changeable. We have not released as many as usual, they are not very active, not many are hibernating and many are not up to release weight.
